Our Story
Hi! We'd like to think of ourselves as loving, (fairly) intelligent, responsible, and funny people and unless our friends and family have been lying to us, we are not that far off the mark.
We met on a hot, humid night at a salsa dancing event - (yes, it’s true!). Chris asked Melissa to dance (she said “Yes!”)...and the rest is history. Another fun fact about us is our shared love of sports. From playing catch in the backyard to cheering on our favorite teams, sports are a big part of our lives. As adoptive parents, we're committed to providing your child with a loving, supportive environment where he can thrive and grow. We'll encourage him to explore his interests, including sports (if that's something he's passionate about). Whether it's throwing a football, shooting hoops, or simply enjoying outdoor activities, we'll be there every step of the way, cheering him on and helping him develop skills that will serve him well in life. We understand the importance of creating a great life for your child, and we're ready to provide a stable and nurturing home filled with love, laughter, and opportunities for him to reach his full potential.
“We will provide transparency, honesty, and open communication. We'll share your child's growth, milestones, and adventures with you as a sign of respect for your role as his birth mother”.
-Chris and Melissa
Why we choose adoption
Choosing adoption isn't just about adding a new member to our family; it's about creating a circle of love that extends beyond bloodlines. Here's why we're all in on adoption and what we can offer you and your precious little one.

We promise to…
We will provide transparency, honesty, and open communication. We'll share your child's growth, milestones, and adventures with you as a sign of respect for your role as his birth mother.
We will prioritize your child's well-being above all else and they will have a safe, loving, and stable home environment.
Your child's physical needs will be met with nutritious meals (Chris is a great cook!) and regular medical check-ups.
We will create a nurturing atmosphere (with a great support system) where he will feel secure and valued.
We will encourage his intellectual curiosity and provide educational opportunities.
Above all, we promise to love and cherish your child unconditionally.
Our Promise
Choosing adoption isn't just about adding a new member to our family; it's about creating a circle of love that extends beyond bloodlines.
-Chris and Melissa
As you consider the future of your child, we want to discuss the loving and nurturing environment he would experience after adoption, and how you would continue to play a significant role in his life. First and foremost, our focus is on the big picture and your child's future. We're committed to providing a safe and secure environment where he can explore his potential, pursue his passions, and thrive in whatever area he chooses. Your child's education, development, and growth will always be our top priority, and we will adapt our lives to meet his needs and provide him with every opportunity to succeed. We believe in being open and honest about the adoption process, so your child will grow up knowing his story and understanding your love and sacrifice that led to their adoption. We'll create a relationship with you based on trust and respect, providing regular updates on their growth and development so you can continue being a part of his life. Our home will be a place of stability, security, and lifelong connections. Your child will grow up surrounded by love and support, with family members who are always there for him through every triumph and challenge.
Our Hope For This Child
Wait! Don't go just yet...
We know you've probably looked at a ton of profiles...
Which one do you pick?
What makes this profile the right one for you and your child vs. the other profiles you've already looked at?
While we can't answer that question for you, we are reminded of a TV commercial some years ago.
This commercial was pretty popular and successful.
What made it so successful was that....whenever there was a time that someone needed help, all the person had to do was hit the big red "easy button"...and help would arrive.
So...we would like to think of ourselves as your "easy button".
Now, you might be asking yourself...how will Chris and Melissa make this easy?
And we completely understand...this is NOT an easy decision.
However, the people you choose to work with can make the process easy or can cause a lot of unnecessary headaches.
We are promising to make this as easy for you (as possible) by focusing on the following items,
- Open and transparent communication throughout the entire process
- Listening and respecting your voice and providing clear information
- Providing a stable, loving home full of additional family support
- Consistent, regular updates on your child's growth and achievements!
Are we going to be perfect parents? We will certainly try, but the reality is...probably not.
But, we will promise to make this entire process as "easy" for you and your child as it can be.
